MN Freeze,

G'day everybody! I hope everyone is doing well back home and excited for nationals. This is actually my last day in Mt. Barker, Western Australia before I begin my long journey home. We finished up our footy season in fourth place in Great Southern Football League (GSFL) and it was a really fun season. We won a few games along the way and it was pretty cool because I was able to notice some improvement from week to week in how I played. I'm excited to get back and help the team out with training sessions and bringing a few new drills back. I'm especially excited for nationals too. I'm looking forward to catching up with everybody in the club and hearing about the MN Freeze's season and all of the crazy stories from the year as well.

The last few weeks have been tough seeing as it's been full of good byes. The football club as well as the entire town of Mt. Barker have very really friendly and welcoming, and it's hard to say good bye to everything that I've gotten used to in the last six months. From the beers immediately after training sessions, to the goofballs in the club, to the incredible hospitality from the Mt. Barker Football Club and from the lovely family I've been staying with for the duration of my time here in Mt. Barker the Lubckes, to Grant, Suzz, Brayden, and Darcy I owe a very special thanks for letting me be a part of their family for these past six months and putting up with all my shinanigans.

Although the good byes will be tough, on the opposite side of things I can't wait to get back into it with the Freeze. From training on saturday mornings and Freddy coming straight from the night club, to Jahnke being Jahnke, to Kurts' ball, and especially to kicking butt at this years nationals. I'll do my best to bring what pictures I can to nationals to show everyone.

The next few weeks are going to be pretty busy with just getting back from a trip to Margaret River, and then this weekend our team's footy trip up to Perth, and then over to Melbourne for the AFL Grand Final week, and then off to Queenstown, New Zealand for week, and then finally back to Minnesota.

I'm planning on coming to training that Wednesday before nats so I'll be able to catch up with a few of you then. See you guys soon and get in a little extra running in before nats, just imagine how much more fun you'll have running around the competition at nationals when you're fitness is better than theirs!

Until Nationals,

Tiger
