We taught 7th and 8th grade boys the art of handballing, kicking and marking the "funny shaped" ball.
I was a great afternoon and it definately generated more interest in the sport.

Due to this awesome weather we've been having, a few people have shown an interest in organizing a kick for this Saturday. Let's plan on 12:00 noon at Lake Nokomis. This will not be a formal practice, but rather chance to dust off the cobwebs of the boots and get a few repetitions in. Bring your runners along, and any footys you have as well.
The Minnesota Freeze will be celebrating the 2011 season at our annual end-of-year awards banquet, Best and Fairest night. This is a celebration of our club's successes, an opportunity to close the season with good food, drink, and friendship. Several season and national tournament awards will be handed out. Hope to see every player there. Friends and family are welcome.
