After the match in La Crosse, the club will be taking a drive up the river to Kinga's House for a BBQ to show our appreciation to all the players, their families, friends, and all other supporters of the Freeze!

This will be a good chance for everyone playing to sit around, relax and have a beer after the game.
Showers will be available.

The 2010 USAFL National tournament will be held in Louisville, Kentucky October 9 and 10th. The Minnesota Freeze hope to bring two full teams this year to compete at both Division II and Division III.

The Minnesota Freeze women have been hard at work recruiting new players via their Fitness through Footy program.  We thought it would be a great idea to get the new players out to meet the club!  So come on down to the Freeze sponsor, Kierans, have a few drinks and welcome the new players to the club.

The Minnesota Freeze will kick off the 2011 season with the first practice at Lake Nokomis.

Minnesota will be traveling to Des Moines for its first official match of the 2011 season.
Match start is at 2 PM.
It was previously anticipated that this would be a 3-way tournament, including the St. Louis club. St. Louis, unfortunately, will not be participating.

Who &Why? This fundraiser is to help the 12 Minnesotans that have been selected to Represent the USA by playing Australian Rules Football (Footy) in Australia this August (2011). There are 6 ladies playing for the US Freedom team and 6 gents playing for the US Revolution.
(Additional Why): Each player is required to raise their own funds which runs around and upward of $3,500.

The expected Milwaukee/Minnesota match resulted in an unfortunate forfeit, with the Bombers traveling too light to field a side. A spirited match ensued, nonetheless, with all-comers splitting into sides of either red or blue.
