The US Freedom held their annual training camp/tryouts in Minneapolis on June 16-17, 2012.

The 2012 US Freedom Squad has been named for the yearly clash against Canada on August 4 in Dublin Ohio.  The Minnesota Freeze will be well represented in the 2012 squad lead by 4 year Freedom player Marie LaVictoire and 2011 Freedom vice captain and International Cup All World player Becky Kraft. 

Lizzy Even is returning from the 2011 International Cup squad.  Newcomers Cathy Hoha and Bri Theissen will be pulling on the red. white, and blue jumpers for the first time.

Terri Tupper has been named to the 2012 US Freedom Development squad and will be playing in the development curtain raiser at the 49th Parallel Cup.
