At the recent AGM the Freeze announced a new fundraising event for 2009;

Join the Minnesota Freeze Australian Rules Football Club and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in the fight against diabetes by running or walking around Lake Nokomis on a 5K course.
A portion of your race entrance fee will help JDRF to find the cure (www.jdrf.org/mnnd)

When: Saturday, April 11 2009.
Where: Lake Nokomis.
Runners will start at 10 am.
Those walking, with strollers, or with young children will begin at 10:10 am.

Entry Fee is $25 pre-registered / $30 race day.
All entrants will receive a Freeze & JDRF commemorative shirt.
