Div II Championship vs Calgary

The Minnesota Freeze made it through their pool undefeated and earned a berth in the Division II Grand Final against the Kangaroos from Calgary.  This is the Freeze's 4th grand final in their 6 year history.  They previously won Division III in 2005 and Division II in 2007 and were runners up in 2006.

Calgary went into the match heavy favorites but the Minnesota boys were undaunted and eager to play as the underdog.

After going 2-0 on Saturday, the Minnesota Freeze faced off against Chicago Swans for a berth in the Division II Grand Final.

Div IV: Minnesota vs New York

In the opening round for the Division IV team, the Minnesota Freeze went up against the New York Magpies.

Footypalooza 2007 KSTP

The Minnesota Freeze hosted the Denver Bulldogs and Milwaukee Bombers in the first Annual Footy Palooza Tournament.  Denver won the tournament  by going 2-0.  Minnesota beat Milwaukee for 2nd place.

KMSP was on hand to report on the tournament.
